Welcome to JamScore AI. Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully. By accessing or using our websites, applications, and services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Service Overview

JamScore AI provides web-based audio tools, including AI-driven stem separation, vocal removers, room reverb removers, and converters that transcribe audio recordings or musical sheets into digital formats like MIDI, MusicXML, and sheet music ("Output"). The Service runs partially locally on your browser via WebAssembly (WASM) and partially on our servers.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the consent and under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms. By using JamScore AI, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Accounts and Registration

To access certain features of the Service (such as project storage and higher credit tiers), you may need to register an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete information during registration and to keep this information up-to-date. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Payment, Subscriptions, and Credits

Our payment and credit structures are subject to the following terms:

• Credits: The Service operates on a credit system. Certain AI tasks (like stem splitting or notation generation) require a specific number of credits.
• Free Account: Free accounts receive a set amount of credits (e.g., 16 credits after email verification, and 8 monthly credits capped at 16) for basic testing.
• Subscription Plans: We offer subscription tiers (such as Creator or Pro plans). Subscriptions are billed on a recurring billing cycle (monthly or yearly).
• Refunds: All purchases of credits and subscriptions are final and non-refundable, except as required by law.

5. Intellectual Property and Content Rights

We respect copyright and expect our users to do the same. By using JamScore AI, you agree to the following:

• Your Input Files: You retain all ownership rights to the audio, files, or sheet music you upload to the Service ("User Content"). You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, and permissions to upload and process such User Content.
• Infringing Materials: You must not upload any files that infringe the copyrights or intellectual property rights of third parties. JamScore AI is designed for personal practice, learning, and transcribing user-owned or legally licensed audio.
• Our Intellectual Property: The Service, including its algorithms, software, interface, logos, and design, is the exclusive property of JamScore AI. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute any part of our platform.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any local, national, or international laws.
• Upload, post, or transmit any content that is infringing, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to bypass security features, reverse-engineer models, or scrape content from the Service.
• Use automated scripts or bots to generate bulk conversions or overload our servers.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. JAMSCORE AI MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR QUALITY OF THE CONVERSIONS, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. AI-DRIVEN TRANSCRIPTIONS ARE MATHEMATICAL PREDICTIONS AND MAY CONTAIN NOTATION AND PITCH ERRORS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JAMSCORE AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this website. Your continued use of the Service after such changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
